Semaglutide causes gastroparesis, which is an inability of the stomach to empty food.  Semaglutide-induced gastroparesis may continue months after stopping usage of Semaglutide. Someone with gastroparesis may experience:

• Severe nausea and vomiting
• Severe abdominal pain
• Gastric blockage/obstruction

Severe gastroparesis may require surgical intervention, long periods of hospitalization, and/or frequent ER visits.
