Ja’Mecia Laws

Ja’Mecia graduated summa cum laude from the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff with a Bachelor of Arts in Social Sciences/Political Science in the fall of 2018. She received her Juris Doctor degree from Washington University School of Law in 2022, where she was a Scholar in Law scholarship award recipient.

During her time at WashULaw, Ja’Mecia served as the vice president of the Black Law Student Association. In her position, she promoted diversity in the legal profession by supporting fellow law students through their law school matriculation as well as mentoring students interested in pursuing a legal career.

While in law school, Ja’Mecia externed as a law clerk with the Missouri Public Defenders in St. Louis City and the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of Illinois. At the firm, Ja’Mecia takes pride in her contribution to promoting law and order for our clients that are injured by mass torts.
