Schlichter Bogard Achieves National Recognition from Chambers and Partners
Schlichter Bogard has again been selected by Chambers and Partners, a provider of independent research on law firms and lawyers, as one of a small number of leading law firms to receive national recognition in ERISA litigation.
Among other things, Chambers’s review states that Schlichter Bogard “is singled out for its representation of retirement plan participants in excessive fee cases.” The review includes quotes from individuals surveyed about the firm, including: (1) “It is one of the most impressive firms that I have ever worked with, especially for ERISA issues”; (2) “They are incredibly committed, hard-working and brilliant lawyers”; and (3) “They were knowledgeable, gracious, and helpful. They were excellent.”
Additionally, Jerry Schlichter was identified as one of just a small handful of lawyers to receive Chambers’ highest “Band 1” ranking in Nationwide ERISA Litigation; he received the same recognition in Missouri Plaintiffs’ Litigation. As Chambers states, among other things: “[Jerry] has expertise in complex litigation and is well experienced in financial and railroad cases, with a strong reputation for acting for plaintiffs” and “he is recognized for is experience handling complex ERISA class actions involving alleged breaches of fiduciary duties.” The review further quotes practitioners who state that “he is thorough, imaginative and has the ability to identify problems others haven’t seen” and “he is absolutely outstanding.”
