Schlichter Bogard Launches e-Newsletter Catering Directly to Railroad Workers

Schlichter Bogard & Denton is pleased to announce the launch of our new e-newsletter catering directly to railroad workers and conveying informative articles discussing a wide variety of railroad-related topics. In the e-newsletter, attorneys from our nationally recognized Railroad Injury team discuss, among other important topics, railroad workers’ rights and protections, federal railroad laws, recent court rulings impacting railroad workers’ rights, updates concerning our continued efforts to fight on behalf of railroad workers, and much more.

By way of example, in our current issue, we discuss the applicability of the Federal Employers’ Liability Act (“FELA”) to “off the clock” workers, the FELA’s protections afforded to railroad workers when they engage with contractors, and eight safety features that all cars and locomotive must include under the Railroad Safety Appliance Act.

“As a law firm, we believe that it is vitally important to not only represent railroad workers after they are injured, but to also spread awareness about available protections to help them avoid injury in the first place. Our e-newsletter is an invaluable resource in achieving this second significant goal,” said Schlichter Bogard & Denton Senior Partner Nelson Wolff.

“We are thrilled to be able to share our breadth of knowledge with the wider railroad community through this e-newsletter, and hope railroaders will take advantage of our years of unparalleled experience and diligent research by reading it,” added Schlichter Bogard & Denton Managing Partner Jerry Schlichter.
