Schlichter Bogard Reaches Preliminary $13.4 Million Settlement on Behalf of Liberty Mutual 401(k) Plan Participants

As reported by Law360 and other media outlets, Schlichter Bogard has reached a $13.4 million preliminary settlement on behalf of Liberty Mutual 401(k) plan participants.

The lawsuit, originally filed by Schlichter Bogard in 2020, alleged that the insurance company allowed excessive fees and underperforming investment options to drain workers’ retirement savings. The certified class encompasses nearly 50,000 individuals who participated in Liberty Mutual’s retirement plan.
