As reported by Law360, a case brought by Schlichter Bogard on behalf of more than 10,000 current and former employees of Shell Oil will proceed to trial as a class action after a court granted the participants’ motion for class certification.

The Employee Retirement Income Security Act (ERISA) lawsuit alleges that Shell plan participants were charged excessive recordkeeping fees and that Shell neglected to monitor the financial health of the plan’s investment options.
