Schlichter Bogard Partner Kris Kraft Named to Plaintiffs’ Steering Committee in Juul Multidistrict Litigation

The top attorneys preparing to battle e-cigarette makers Juul over allegations that it targeted minors and downplayed the risks of nicotine addiction include an ex-public defender, a former marine biologist, a former D1 basketball player, and Schlichter Bogard & Denton’s own Kris Kraft, a partner in our Consumer Protection practice group.

On January 31, Kris was named to the Plaintiffs’ Steering Committee (“PSC”) in the Juul multidistrict litigation (“MDL”). Kris brings over 30 years of experience and deep knowledge of the mass tort space to the Juul litigation. Among many other accomplishments, she has served as Co-Lead Counsel and Liaison Counsel in the NuvaRing multidistrict litigation, which resulted in a $100 million settlement.
