St. Louis Post-Dispatch Recognizes Schlichter Bogard’s Role in Reducing 401(k) Plan Fees

The St. Louis Post-Dispatch has published an article chronicling the history of section 401(k), which notes, among other things, that 401(k) plans have “improved a lot since the early years,” in part because of class action lawsuits brought by Schlichter Bogard & Denton.

The article credits the firm’s litigation activities as part of the reason “[f]ees have come down” in 401(k) plans. The St. Louis Post-Dispatch follows other publications, such as the Wall Street Journal, in recognizing Schlichter Bogard & Denton’s role in lowering retirement plan fees for workers.
