Class of Yale University Workers Represented by Schlichter Bogard Certified
On September 24, 2019, the U.S. District Court for the District of Connecticut certified a class of Yale University retirement plan participants represented by Schlichter Bogard & Denton. The plaintiffs in the case allege that the defendants offered investment options that charged unreasonable fees and failed to control administrative expenses, among other claims.
“This decision is consistent with grants of class certification by courts across the country in such cases,” said Jerome J. Schlichter of Schlichter Bogard & Denton, class counsel for the participants. “We’re pleased that the case will now proceed on behalf of all the Yale employees and retirees in the plan.”
