Kristine Kraft and Roger Denton Recognized by Missouri Lawyers Weekly; Named to The Power List

Schlichter Bogard & Denton attorneys Kristine Kraft and Roger Denton were named to Missouri Lawyers Weekly’s (“MLW”) inaugural edition of The Power List, focusing on personal injury lawyers who lead and influence the Missouri legal community.

A 25-year litigation veteran and partner in Schlichter Bogard & Denton’s Consumer and Environmental and Pharmaceutical practice groups, Kristine has “staked out a path that has placed her at the center of some of the biggest controversies of recent years in the pharmaceutical drug and medical device worlds.”  One such controversy is the NuvaRing multidistrict litigation (“MDL”), on which Kristine was appointed co-lead counsel and national liaison counsel and, in 2014, resulted in a $100 million settlement from the manufacturer.  It marked the largest settlement that year.

Among other accomplishments, Kristine has been a member of the National Association of Distinguished Counsel’s Top One Percent organization since 2015 and serves on the Missouri Association of Trial Attorney’s governing board.

Roger Denton has a larger-than-life reputation for leadership in mass torts–“reflected in the number of times he’s been appointed as counsel for multidistrict litigation.” Of Counsel with the firm, Roger has served as plaintiffs’ liaison counsel on high-impact MDLs for blood-thinning drug Pradaxa and birth control drugs Yasmin and Yaz, both of which resulted in high-dollar settlements: a $650 million global settlement in Pradaxa and $1.6 billion global settlement of the birth control claims.

Schlichter Bogard & Denton is proud of our longstanding history of representing individuals harmed by wrongdoing, and exceptionally proud of the trial attorneys whose tireless effort and dedication to justice make it all possible. Please join us in congratulating Kristine Kraft and Roger Denton for their leadership and accomplishments.
